Here is the latest update for ProgSkeet for those of you who are using it. With this update the NOR has been entirely rewritten and the NAND is unmodified. The write to buffer programming method and erase sector have been optimized. There is also a fix for the fault in timeout of programming/erasing. It has been increased to 3.5 seconds per line and per sector. There is also an added wait on erase sector as well as improved flashing speed. Thus, if you are interested in ProgSkeet and want to purchase one, make sure to visit their main site (see source). *For all the improvements, view the changelog below.
Remember all those RSOD’s that were happening back in the early days of CFW, now progskeet as we all know supports fixing issues such as NAND/NOR downgrading, etc. Now progskeet has a gotten a little bit more cooler with the release of this update allowing those of you unfortunate ones with the RSOD(Red Screen Of Death) to come back to life and join in on the scene that’s right developer uf6667 has done just that. This update as you can see from the changelog below is well worth it, because it could bring some RSOD PS3′s back to life, it will detect and map the bad sectors in the NOR flash, which is the main cause of this horrible start on the PS3. The application and drivers are compatible only with Windows compatibility for Linux and Mac will be coming up with a tutorial.

Changelog:

This marks the end of the flaming. To me this looks like an exploit, therefor it stays where it is. If not report it and include the correct section.
