Clearly im not stupid as ive managed to fix itkay:. However have you tried what i said in my edit. Put the PS3 back to OFW 3.55 and check the apps and games run, if they do then update back to rebug again. Then install update and it should work, if not then i would recommend you stay at 3.55.1 as i find that to be more stable, plus i have a modified version of it .
