I'm not sure if i want to buy it or not as I've heard that modchips can be patched..Sony could patch it the next update and it'd be a waste of money, wouldn't it? Because you wouldn't be able to use PSN and why else would you want a non-cfw past 3.55?

actually, the jailbreak dongle could be free if you owned a device.... TI graphinh calc, itouch, teensy, etc. I don't think this will have a free version. Remember kiddes, although it says solderless, it still prob "clips" onto the insides of your console, not just loadin sum files on a usb drive. I am also wondering if sony could patch this. I'm almost positive infectus 1 got patched. Also remember when geohot said that CFW couldn't be patched??? Anyways, I think i'll wait untill the next FW update to see if it gets patched or not b4 buying 1.
