Onishin, a member and developer of our forum (Logic Sunrise), delivers to us today a nice new homebrew app called OpenPS3FTPsplit! OpenPS3FTPsplit is simply a modified version of OpenPS3FTP 2.3′s source code FTP server designed by the infamous jjolano! This program has a brand-new and very useful feature:: It splits files larger than 4Go during FTP transfer.

Meaning:: If you want to transfer a 4GB+ file to the internal HDD of your PS3, or to a FAT32 external HDD plugged to you PS3, you just need to launch the copy and the software will automatically fragment the file.

member over at the french forum logic-sunrise that goes by the name of onishin has just released a modified version of jjolano's openps3ftp. This little application splits files that are greater than 4 gb for easy file transfer for the ps3. Here is a quote.
