In honor of the now world-famous 'True Blue' dongle that allows Jailbreak PS3 users to finally enjoy the latest v3.6+ games, the coders behind Codename: REBUG have released a new version of their REBUG custom firmware that is designed to be used with the 'True Blue' dongle!

As a courtesy for our loyal users we have put together REBUG 3.55.2 TB EDITION.

The Codename: Rebug Team take NO CREDIT for the COREOS work as we are using the True Blue CFW COREOS with the REBUG dev_flash files (straight swap, everything works so far!!).

And also, since we have fully reverse engineered the True Blue dongle, it should only be a matter of time before we are able to flash the True blue to other dongles like the Teensy++ or the E3 Card Reader ect.. And it will be MUCH cheaper Happy

What I'm thinking is how come they couldn't release this TB dongle as a new CFW instead of a dongle? Is it possible that a future release will become available as a CFW?

Use your PS3 as a BD-R, just copy the files using MultiMan from either your internal or external HDD straight onto a blank BluRay and it should work fine. The only reason I can think for getting the True Blue Dongle is for adding mods to games like skyrim. That way I'd be able to transfer the savegame and use anything I've added on my normal PS3 Smile.
