this thread is pointless none of the encryptions inside the pup file will ever be brute forced or a likely event someone figures a algorithm to calculate the keys it just wont happen this way

That's what you think, there's always a way to hack/mod anything. It just takes time and a lot of work. Plus, like I always hear. There's ALWAY a back door for everything. It's a way, let's say IW, that they can go in and change things easily without any effort at all. We just have to find that back door to get in. Winky Winky

The debug firmwares will tell you nothing at all, its the same as unpacking a retail firmware, you will not find out anything this way that you wont find in a retail 4.0 firmware...so this thread is actually pointless.

That's not true. Debug and retail firmwares pups aren't exactly the same. The extraction logs differ a little bit also.

I mean encryption wise and ways to, as you say "back door the fw" and the extraction logs really do mean nothing...just ask KaRaKoToKS or Geohot...
