(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This weekend an anonymous PlayStation 3 developer has made available a MultiMAN v04.01.00 DEX Update Mod (20120204) PKG for those who own PS3 Debug / Test consoles and wish to enable game back-ups on it.

To quote: You need to install the mmCM v04.01.00 released yesterday first on your DEX, then run this UPD PKG to get multiMAN to now run & play games from your HDD

This makes the mmCM function as normal multiMAN on DEX machines running 3.55 just like on CEX, but of course without the Cobra exclusive functions!

Not much more can be said about this release, but it seems to work on QA flag'ed CEX machines also thanks to LV2_Loader and the previous dexl0ve posting

multiman is beast

A DEX would be a Debug unit. There is a way to convert a CEX (consumer) to DEX, but the method is only known by a few and not something for beginners. And since this MM is intended to run on DEX it's not compatible with a CEX ps3, nor is there any reason you would need to use it.
