1. You need to download these files:

Firmwares you will need.

Rebug 3.55-2 You must login or register to view this content.

DO NOT LOAD TB FIRMWARE IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE DONGLE

TB firmware You must login or register to view this content.

Cobra USB You must login or register to view this content.

2. Other things you will need:

Multi Manager You must login or register to view this content.

USB stick or External Hard drive formatted to fat32 so the Ps3 can read the drive.

Dongles

Proceed at own risk

I have tested all the files and the procedure on 3 diffrent PS3 fat models and this is confirmed working on all Ps3 models on 3.55 or below, According to the Internet Google It.

First of you need to create a folder on the root of the USB/EX HD named PS3 with capitals

Now open the new PS3 folder and make a new folder called UPDATE

Now open the UPDATE folder and put the REBUG_3.55.2_PS3UPDAT.PUP into this folder and

Rename PS3UPDAT.PUP

STEP A

With the PS3 on go to Update on the PS3 XMB and press X

You will be promped with a screen with the option to Update via Storage Media Press X

It will scan and find the Update Press X and follow the Instructions that follow until the PS3 is Updated.

Now you should be on the PS3 XMB after the system finishes and then reboots.

Now go to Settings on the PS3 and go all the way to the bottom and you should see Debug Settings.

Press X and go down till you see System Update Debug and set to on. Restart PS3

Go all the way up to System Update and go to Update via Storage Media and Press X

It will find the PS3 Update file and give you the option to Save Update Data on Hard Drive

Select this option by Pressing X then Press up and Press X to Enter it will load the file.


The system will Restart.

Press PS button to turn controller on then Press O to cancel the Update Process (The actual Update process has not started and this point) Ps3 will restart.

Now take the The True Blue firmware IF you own the dongle if not move to next step! Put it in the Update folder of the USB/EX HD and name PS3UPDAT.PUP.

Follow part A AGAIN.

Now take the Cobra firmware and put it in the Update folder Of the USB/EX HD and name PS3UPDAT.PUP


Follow part A one more time.

You can have up to 20 different OFW/CFW's just make sure they are all 3.55 or below
DO NOT UPDATE YOUR PS3 HIGHER THAN 3.55 OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR JAILBREAK!!

Now we need to name each Update file so you know which Update File to load.

You need to load the Multi Man PKG file from the Install Package Icon on the XMB, if you don't already have it Installed.

Start MM and once it loads Press Select and Start at the same time.

You should now be in the file manager of MM

Find Dev_HDD0 Press X go all the way to the bottom of the list until you see folder updater.


Open this folder and you should see 3 folders named 01 02 03.

OpenFolder 01 by Pressing X then Press O on the PS3UPDAT.PUP file Go to rename Press X

Rename the file PS3USERCHEAT


Go to folder 02 and name the PS3UPDAT.PUP to True Blue if you loaded It!


Go to folder03 and name the PS3UPDAT.PUP Cobra

Press the PS button in the middle of the controller and quit the game.

Now that you are back on the PS3 XMB go to Settings then System Update Press X and go to Update via

Hard Disk Press X and you should see Your newly named Firmwares.


Now when you want to use a specific dongle you just Update the System from the Hard Disk and 3 Minutes
later you can use the dongle you loaded the firmware for.

So im Currently on 4.20 ofw . ( i want to host but i dont have a jailbreak )
Please tell me if this method work .

1. I Take out my PS3 External Hardrive
2. Connect it to my PC SATA Cable .
3. OPEN PS3/EXPORT/BACKUP,
4. NOW IN THE BACKUP FOLDER,MAKE THESE FOLDERS, dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30377/​USRDIR/"put your
patch.ff here",NOW GO
BACK AND OPEN BACKUP FOLDER AND RENAME THE FOLDER WITH ALOT OF
NUMBERS IN IT TO THE EXACT NAME OF THE PATCH THAT YOU PUT IN THE "USRDIR" FOLDER

*EXAMPLE:USRDIR/patch.ff

SO YOU NAME THE FOLDER patch.ff

5) NOW PLUG YOUR USB STICK IN YOUR PS3,GO TO RESTORE DATA "IT'S IN THE OPTION BACKUP
DATA",AND CLICK YOUR USB STICK AND CLICK THE FOLDER THAT'S THE SAME NAME OF YOUR
PATCH,LET IT RESTORE,AND WHEN IT'S DONE,START UP MW2,GO ONLINE!
