(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey Guys, I gave myself RSOD Yesterday. Found the easiest way to fix it is as follows: It's really easy. Make sure you have 3.55 OFW on a USB in your PS3 Heres a Link- You must login or register to view this content.

Then, turn your PS3 off. Then hold down the On/Off button all the way until it turns itself of again. Then release your finger and hold it down again, it will beep once, and then keep holding it until the double beep, after the double beep let go. Your PS3 is now in System Recovery Mode. Go down to System Update, and update your PS3 via your usb. It will put 3.55 Official Firmware back on, after all that is done, reupdate with the CFW of your choice through 'System Update' on your XMB. After you re-jailbreak, all your Pkgs from before will still be there. You'd have lost nothing.

Worked everytime it's happened to me. I'm not sure if this is Posted elsewhere. It is copied and pasted from a PM i sent to a guy, attempting to help him out. This is just for the noobs who are unaware or shit themselves when it happens. Not sure If maybe it won't work in more serious cases or not.

I'm kind of worried now though, this other guy who said he didn't know how to use 4shared, so he asked for a different link, I gave him a link for 3.55-OFW from PS3NEWS.COM And he's telling me it was actually 3.66 FW. I really hope it wasn't true, I'd feel like an absolute dick!

i think someone should resign this to every firmware so no matter what firmware your on you can do this to repair your console.. i have a few on the newest firmware and this wont work..

That's True.
People with firmwares over 4.21 wouldn't have a chance to repair to PS3.
This could be something that could help everyone out from spending their money.:carling:
