eEID_RKDumper - Dump eEID Root Key from GameOS - No OtherOS Required

Developer flatz has just released another great application for helping users CEX2DEX their PS3 consoles. Today he brings everyone the eEID_RKDumper, a tool used to dump your console's eEID Root Key from GameOS. This means you will no longer have to install OtherOS++ aka Linux in order to obtain this information.

About eEID_RKDumper:

    eEID_RKDumper (from GameOS) by flatz

 

 

Howto

-----

* install package and run it

* It will then black screen (no GUI) and restart the console automatically

* FTP (other otherwise) retrieve your eid_root_key / PCK1 from /dev_hdd0/tmp/eid_root_key

It wont let me move the file over. i get an error in ftp and it wont show up in my usb. Any help

i just didnt fancy formatting to install linux, might try this out now the conversion is almost automated :p

erm, check the file isnt read only or try file manager
FTP worked fine for me
