At first I was skeptical until I asked some MODS here to validate his claims and Shaitan pulled through. Well my skepticism was met with truth, PSN is back for custom firmware users!!

OpenPS3FTP can be found under Network column not Games - Note: first time I used this program. I wondered where the hell it was. LMFAO
OpenPS3FTP Username: root
OpenPS3FTP Password: anything - what ever you want

Make sure to backup your CERT27 and also to REBOOT the PS3 after install.

Server connection keeps timing out on the PS3.

I've tried everything that I've seen around and I'm not seeing anyone with the same problem as myself. I've opened the ports 53, 80, 443. Tried both secondary DNS's. FxckPSN is running as Admin. Not sure what else to do.

(I need to add my PSN on this PS3 as I only got it a month ago and that's where it just says "The server connection timed out.") Not sure if that changes anything.

Fixed it.
*Changed my Default Gateway to 192.168.1.254 and BOTH DNS's to my PC IP*

It's not working for me at all.. is the original cert27 needed? opening fuck psn it closes shortly thereafter. And prompts to update when l try to sign in.. help?

Could you please explain a little better exactly what I do here or link me on what to do. I have never used F*ckpsn. Any help appreciated

I'm on right now.

- On your pc make a new folder, name it anything.
- You should have a rar file named fuckpsn_716e4, open that and extract the files into the folder you just made.
- On your ps3 install dev_blind.pkg.
- Run dev_blind, then press yes twice.
- Install openps3ftp.pkg.
- Run openps3ftp.
- Go to your computer and run filezilla.
- Press CTRL+S and type the following info.

Host: Your ps3 ip
Port: 21
Protocol: FTP - File Transfer Protocol
Encryption: Use plain FTP
Logon Type: Normal
User: root
Password: openbox

Then click connect.
- Navigate to dev_blind >> data >> cert.
- Right click on CA27.cer and rename it to CA27.bak.
- Now replace the CA27.cer with the one that`s in the folder you made on your desktop.
- Now you can close out openps3ftp on your ps3 and close out filezilla on your desktop.
- On your ps3 go to Network Settings >> Internet Connection Settings and push ok.
- Choose Custom >> Your connection method >> Enter Manually >> Navigate until you get to IP Address Setting. Choose Manual .
- On your computer go to your command prompt and type ipconfig.
- Now you should see your computers IP Address, it will say "IPv4 Address" now you need that.
- On your ps3 put your computers IPv4 Address as the Primary DNS and make your Secondary DNS as 8.8.8.8.
- Navigate until your at the end and press x to save.
- Turn of your ps3 then turn is back on.
- Start F*ckPs3 .
- Now sign in.
