(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); uicy rumors had appeared early this morning, in the form of a headline news post on the top of scene site EurAsia, and they would not post something unless it was indeed happening soon in the PS3 scene, and soon afterwards it was confirmed, an below is your first exclusive look at the device operating:

PS3Key (ODD) - Xkey for PS3 imminent??!! Watch this space...
Later on, Admin modrobert from EurAsia.nu wrote this in his forums regarding the up-coming new PS3 hardware:

I just got word from a well known team that will make PS3 owners happy!

Watching the video and drooling!! With those few words I hope to keep you interested...
After seeing the discussion regarding this on various sites, we here at PS3Crunch reached out to some trusted long-time resellers to get more info.

#1 - The team for now is only releasing one picture regarding 3KEY, but are hoping for an 'end of the year' release.
#2 - It is full hardware interface, not some crappy reDRM dongle, that means it will work on OFW no need to be stuck on CFW v3.55.
#3 - It will be complete ODD Blu-Ray emulator, allowing even the feature to rip your original PS3 game discs to your external HDD.
#4 - Due to the nature of design, you will be required to open your PS3 to install it, but I been told NO SOLDERING is needed.
#5 - More info will be release later, but for now any more pictures and videos are PRIVATE and been shown only to trusted long-time resellers.
Now we also got alot of questions from members by PM and Email after this news was posted, does this mean the end of hope for CFW v4.21???

That is good question, and we hope to update you on that subject in another thread later on, but remember unlike CFW which will always only install on CFW v3.55, this hardware product if it does appear will give hope to those stuck with non-downgradable PS3 consoles like the 3K or new 4K model, a way to play their games 'backup' legit from their own game discs to their external HDD.

We do hope that the developers behind the also rumored CFW v4.21, continue their work, so we can also enjoy 'homebrew' on our existing CFW PS3's

In the meantime since this news has been posted, we have now confirmed 3KEY is infact REAL and coming soon, and have updated the news with a nice high-res picture of it

Whoa looking at the pictures it looks easy to install, detach your ribbon cable from the bluray drive and slot it into the 3key board, the only other chord i can see is what looks like maybe the power socket out the back. Looking forward to this
