An error occured during the install operation. (80029780)
i get this when trying to download anything from my downloads list
cant activate my ps3, and my account shows 0 devices activated on qriocity.
anyone know how to fix lol?

Delete the user your acc is on and make another one, or just phone sony but dont mention about 3.55 and say whenever u download this and this u get so and so error thats all I can think of to get your account sorted. Hope I helped.

you cannot install anything from psn on a 3.55 spoofed to 4.25.This happens because the spoofer only spoofs the files to fool psn into thinking you have legit 4.25 but the ofw remains unchanged!!Hence the themes games or anything are updated to latest firmware as soon as sony releases a new update.These files know what to look into a legit 4.25 firmware hence you get the error.Nothing to worry you wont be banned dude.

Dont worry about your ps3 activation it will do no harm.Just keep it out of psn you should be able to earn trophies everything with your account.
dont tell sony you cant activate anything because they will ask you the error code and they would know you are using a cfw.trust me Sony executives are not dumb!!!Well some of them are but majority of them are smart dudes!!
and if you delete your user account all your saves trophies are lost until you reconnect your ps3 with psn with the same user account that you deleted!!!

i had this problem to. Delete the account and then try again. But not on the 3.55

Nevermind derek this is how you fix it:
Change the email on the account on your Ps3.
