Games confirmed by members of PS3ISO, some require you to load with SELECT+ X withink multiman. Very tempted to update to play some of these but im waiting on a safer option.

I've upgraded my CFW system, I know there have been a lot of bricks though...
Borderlands 2 has to boot from disc
Tried booting from an internal backup and no joy... Kind of bummed about that one.
If anyone has gotten it working as a backup please let me know what you did to get it running.

There is some mention on Tortuga about being able to recover using recovery mode and going back to Rogero 3.55 v3.7. Even without a hardware flasher. You must login or register to view this content. <-- That is where Rogero posts all his shit and the guys there are actively working on a solid fix for the bricks.

This is just an idea, if you use multiman and select it it will load it and kick you out of multiman. Than you go above where you install package files (Like where you play internal games. Forgot what it is called) Well if you put a disc in the ps3 will say the game you are trying to load.
Ex. I want to load up Mass Effect 2 that I ripped. I select it in multiman and it boots me out. I put in Rage (Disc) and where I would select to play the Rage it says Mass Effect 2 instead.
I am not sure if I am making sense but if not, I will try to clarify. Also I am not sure if this is common sense but I found this out on my own. I have been able to play any internal game that can be played on 3.55 so far that I have tried

So any disc then? So long as it detects something in the Bluray drive huh... Worth a shot! Thanks

yes borderlands 2 was confirmed working internal/external (any game in drive)
medal of honor also works fine
games from now will likely require 4.25 tho
