We have not heard from the E3-Team for a while, but now they have recently contacted us via Email with a short note, that due to all the recent 'scene' stuff happening, they are now able to release a CFW v4.30 for FREE and offer hope for those with 'bricked' consoles via E3 Flasher.

Also something called 'Game Manager' is included in this CFW v4.30 by them, for all details check out their Email below:

Here we mention to E3 flasher users that you do not need to solder a wire to use the latest upgrade.bin file to unbrick a console.

Don’t remove password if forward the file to other sites.

PLEASE NOTE:

This news was posted yesterday but due to reported problems it was pulled, since then the CFW has been updated.

You still need to be on CFW v3.55 or OFW v3.55 to install this new CFW v4.30 from the E3 Team.

It is best if downgrading to follow the normal steps and dehashing like with RogerO just to be sure of no bricks.

E3 will be releasing an upgraded E3 Flasher 'update.bin' (firmware) to handle direct downgrading to CFW v4.30.

id say stay on the 4.21cfw or 3.55 because the official 4.30 CFW is riddled with bugs, causing games to be unplayable, etc

Yea, but the 4.21 doesn't have a lot of homebrew apps yet, and you have a chance of bricking.
