So Sony has already released another firmware that mysteriously doesn't do much of anything besides give better compatibility to Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD which I for one don't give a shit about but maybe some of you do. Like I said this is an optional firmware and does not give any security/performance(besides for MP) increases.
This does not change the passphrase for psn access and in no way can patch the earlier LV0 key release but does bring to question how well Sony is at releasing firmwares. I mean, 4.30 is only a couple days old and this only fixes one game. I for one can't see why they would release a WHOLE new update so soon just for one game but maybe it's just me.

What do you guys think of Sony's firmware releases? Useful or pointless?

UPDATE #1: FuckPSN has been patched but NOT through this update! 4.30 Rogero users are still reporting PSN access. Just clearing that up.

to be honest i think they just release updates just to look busy i mean theyve not actually developed much its more a case of taking stuff away from previous fw like you can do soo much more with an older firmware than a newer one

and as for this update i kinda proves my point theyre just doing it to look busy i think that they have pretty much given up with the new release of the lv0 keys as what ever fw they release it can be be modded to install pkg's, run homebrew and signed with 3.55 keys how you can install.. so they cant win all they can do is to hope that they manage to build a safer system with the PS4 as the PS3 was a miserable fail by them to be fair

i can no longer sign in using fkpsn, get error (8002A224)and some my friends are getting the same. is it down to this update?

3) Mine says what was included with it, no real performance or security increases besides the one game like your thread does. (Sorta bad info but I digress)
