(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just finished talking to Sony apparently they can now detect the cfw 3.55 when it signs on to PSN.

Any account that signs in on cfw will be banned but they also say that the console is banned, everyone will be receiving an email within 24 hours of the ban advising them of the account and console ban.

Looks like they figured out a way to keep cfw off the network.

I hope its not the end of my 3.55 if it is its been a good run lol!

Prevention
Prevention is simple, disconnect you CFW PS3 from the internet and dont ever sign in until a safe method is released.

Since I heard about the bans going out
I ain't been on my 3.55 wiv sen
Yh I used my main account on both ps3s
My account seems ok cuz I can sign in
Will my account be getting band?

Also I have just brought bops 2
I was on it for about 5 mins an now I can't connect to server ?
I'm on my updated ps3 it says server not available !

Ia m on rogero 4.30, last night played 3 online matches, then i get the same message, server not available, i dont get error code or warning about ban.
Today i still cant go online , same message, what does this mean, am i banned to?

My 3.55 has also been banned, I get a message this account can't use playstation network? Also get the same message on an account i never used on my 3.55. Gone onto my updated ps3 and can still sign in & play online with both accounts. So must be a console ban. Does anybody know if this can be fixed with PSIDpatcher? If so can any one supply a link to a 3.55 package as most i've tried this far have either been deleted or the website shut down.

mine showed up in the spam folder of my email so check there im on 3.55 spoofed console and account ban hope i can get my account unbanned in a few weeks ima dummy for using my ofw psn on my cfw :/

Guys honestly, Sony is banning cfw users. The thing is, there are thousand of people with cfw and pirating games as of now the reason why not all you are banned is because they' re thousand of users, with cfws all over and that will take time but just to be safe be more careful. Because everytime you sign online a log is sent to the ps3 headquarters where it gives out all your info, and what makes it worst is on that log it also lets them know what firmware are you on and if yu playing a legit game(BLURAY) or psned downloadable. Just keep in mind Sony is not stupid, and since they cant do nothing about stopping user from hacking, they'll make sure yu wont use their services with pirated stuff.
