(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So most of you probrally know this already but I'm posting for those who don't , for some reason I thought that by updating to a 4.30 CFW I would be able to access psn again with a new account. Unfortunately that's not the case. If you were banned already on your 3.55 and you try to create an account or sign in to one on a 4.30 CFW you will get this message "Access to Sony Entertainment Network from this system has been banned or temporarily suspended." Meaning regardless of what firmware your on even if its the latest Sony OFW you won't be able to access psn. Ouch, I think I just realized how serious this is , so don't waste your time installing a 4.30 CFW or even updating to sony's OFW , my advice is if you don't use or play backups or don't have any use of a 3.55 that's banned from psn get on ebay and sell it. We are all going to be naive and say "just wait for a new way to bypass" or an "unban method" but the fact of the matter is Sony is fed up and their bringing down the hammer.Oh and btw if you think you'll be able to just data transfer mods and have them work on your OFW your wrong the last COD that was possible was MW2 , you couldn't do it for Bops or MW3 and I'm preety sure it won't work for other new games aswell. That concludes my rant Smile

The post isn't about the bans. The post if for those who think by updating to a 4.30 CFW/OFW you will get unbanned which isn't the case.

I found this useful as I was just banned today. Was wondering if I could salvage PSN, but now I know I can't. Thanks for the info

Yeah, I see your point, but wouldn't a sensible person know once you're banned, there is no way to unban yourself? Though there is, but that is on a technical side, which the average cfw user wouldn't know.

obviously not its the mac address of the machine thats banned! lol. no way of over riding that as such. im amazed ppl dont know this anyway!
