Introduction
Hello NGU! This is the new updated thread about the new Save-Resigner by K.G 971! This thread consists of the download, versions of the save resigner, and how to do it! Go to whatever you want by scrolling through the thread (Since it won't let me add a new page :/)
Here are some of the words from K.G himself after making this program:
This application will allow the resigning of game saves, also allows for the removal of the annoying copy protection that comes with various PS3 game saves. Check below for more info and video from K.G. 971.
Hi guys this is a PS3 save resigner.
Thanks to @ flaz_z for his amazing work. The games.conf is from aldostool.
This is just for people who needs an easier way to use flat_z’s tool.
Credit goes to flat_z for his pfdtool.
You can resign any saves from any regions to any regions. From any accounts to any Accounts.
You can also remove the copy-protection.
It’s easy to use, and very user-friendly. It works for Retail PS3.
All you have to do is search for the keys on internet (watch the video or look at the tut).

Odd, it gave me a corrupted error. Not sure why. I used my own save and the save from this post on NGU: You must login or register to view this content.
I get a corruption error. If possible, can anyone help me out?
A lot of people are having the same issues, because either the secure file id isn't listed in the games.conf or it didn't resign the PARAM.SFO properly. KGs tool wasn't resigning the second instance of the account id properly to my knowledge, I don't know if he fixed it though, I haven't tested since the initial release of his tool.
Is the secure file id for those games listed in your games.conf?
I think that's the problem I might be having with Darksiders 2. The secure_file_id is there, but it's coming up corrupted. The instructions in the first post are actually mine from the previous thread (lol) as I was describing the steps I took which resulted in the corrupt save notice.
People have mentioned Brute Force, but as I posted in the other thread, I don't understand how to use this program. Until K.G. fixes his program, can someone please explain how to use Brute Force?

It's actually pretty straightforward now with the latest version of Bruteforce (1.5.1) but here's a short tut if you download it.
1. Configure your profile via "Set PARAM.SFO as Template" you'll see a drop down box that says "Configure Profiles", select a PARAM.SFO from any of your saves file to setup your profile, it can be from any game save.
2. If you haven't, setup your Console ID in the global.conf (Optional, but is needed for some game saves)
3. Just locate the save you want to resign (click the button next to refresh to locate the directory) and then double click the save, it will ask "Do you want to update the PARAM.SFO with blah blah blah" click yes and it will complete all the steps automatically. (I.E Decrypt, Update, Resign, Backup)
Pretty simple and straightforward tool to use now.
