I have a CHEC-2001B, and really want to downgrade my PS3. I miss having a 3.55 soooo bad. I also don't want to buy another PS3 that has 3.55, because what if I screw up and update, or some other problems? Either way, I want to downgrade myself.

Is this problem typical, or is it just an isolated incident and I will be ok?

Also, do you NEED to reapply thermal paste?

Well i'm from North America too, in Canada and I bought from ModchipCentral. There is no manual with E3 Flasher so whatever where you buy it as long as you're able to buy it Use Google Translate to help you if needed Oh and btw! Don't forget to get an adapter if you wish to plug the HDD Jack (if you get the E3 Flasher Limited Edition) because I received mine with Europen plug so I couldn't connect to the electricity jack on my wall =)
