Post: Homebrew Black Screen FIX

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, I've heard about allot of people having a problem when launching homebrew and it just pops up a black screen, this will also fix the problem when updating it gets to a certain percentage then stops.

I will post pictures shortly.

This problem is mostly due to your SATA cable between your Blu Ray drive and your mother board being disconnected/lose. Probably due to dissemblance of the Blu Ray Drive/PS3.

Now, unscrew your Blu Ray Drive from your PS3 and you will see a cable similar to this: You must login or register to view this content.

It might be a bit thinner depending on your model.

Now if it's clipped in fine under your Blu ray drive just follow the cable to where it leads, might have to unscrew a few things, make sure both point to where it is lead to is clipped in fine and not lose.

If everything is clipped in now, now try to launch your homebrew or re update if it keeps getting stuck Smile
