This includes popular CFWs like Rebug 4.21.2 and PS3ita 4.21 v.9. The change will take place on v5.00.00 which means if you want to stay on a lower firmware then 4.19.00 is the last you can use.

This is a HUGE decision by Deank as many people still use 3.55 CFWs like Kmeaw and 4.XX like Rebug REX. Some have started to speculate that huge firmware revisions will be taking place with Rebug's website going down and now the 4.30 DEX firmware being released. This could lead (IF developers can figure out how Sony patched 4.30+ DEX conversions) to a 4.31 REX firmware and a new 4.3X DEX firmware with better 4.XX support from MultiMan.

If you want to stay on 4.21 or lower CFWs then stay on 4.19.00 MM or switch to Iris Manager.



Me I'm sticking with my PS3ita 4.21 v.9 DEX firmware and I'll live with 4.19.00 but tell me what you think of this decision. Are you angry or upset with it?

{EDIT}To clear some of this up and to back him up on this decision, look the fact is, 4.19.00 is a great release and has very few bugs. There is practically no reasons to stay on 3.55 or 4.21 CFW besides the REX version. 4.30 CFWs can do ALMOST everything that 3.55 can plus more like no patching of games to work.

Deank NEVER said he was going to completely abandon the previous firmwares, he is just not focusing on making it compatible with ALL firmwares, meaning 5.00.00 MAY work on 3.55 but may have bugs that he will not care to fix.

but as far as it goes for these:
4.21 OFW DEX

on another note if your a dex user in order to stay up-to-date with multiman you will have brave it and update to the newly released 4.30 dex ofw which has been said to be risky, i think with the constant bombardment of shit that the people that make iris manger have been giving him hes a bit pissed atm as in the original thread he says you can switch to iris as an alternative

so this is down to iris manger in my eyes, thanks devs of iris manager, your pricks LOLOL

#2 I'm waiting to see if a 4.30 DEX CFW will be created for it. I mean PS3ita's CFW supports games up to 4.31 FW to play so I'm not too pressured. I'll probably check out Iris manager mos def.

i liked my 6666 , i tried that iris manager and well what a load of poop xD i couldnt configure a game correctly i literally dint manage to launch one game from it lol (feeling kinda nooby right now :mmm: ) also my e3 flasher will be turning up today so i think i may be trying out that dex fw as soon as devs have released a lil more info on it as theres speculation of all kinds of implementation that sony have made to it that wasnt in the previous fw's

i am willing 2 upgrade 2 4.30 Rebug but i 1st want 2 know does the cheat's pkg's 4 4.21+ work on 4.30? + all those DLC activators by DUPLEX?

+ will reactPSN also work? and is there a stokers PSID patcher 4 4.30 Rebug not rogero.

Lol, of course deank would do this. MultiMan is just all bloatware now anyways. Iris manager is a lot better anyways so i guess i'll be using that.
