There's a new tool from PS3 developer RazorX. Last week, he released a new tool dubbed the CFW Eboot & PKG Resigner. Like the name suggests, this tool allows you to resign either an EBOOT.bin or PKG file for a new custom firmware. It comes in handy for when there's a homebrew that only has support for a particular firmware and you want to use it on another. The CFW Eboot & PKG Resigner tool supports resigning for the 3.40, 3.55, 3.60, 4.20 and 4.30 custom firmwares as well as handling NPDRM or DISC EBOOTs. If you aren't looking to resign your EBOOT or PKG file just yet, you can unpack/repack the file as well as grab its ContentID.
