Like the name suggests, this tool allows you to resign either an EBOOT.bin or PKG file for a new custom firmware. It comes in handy for when there's a homebrew that only has support for a particular firmware and you want to use it on another. The CFW Eboot & PKG Resigner tool supports resigning for the 3.40, 3.55, 3.60, 4.20 and 4.30 custom firmwares as well as handling NPDRM or DISC EBOOTs. If you aren't looking to resign your EBOOT or PKG file just yet, you can unpack/repack the file as well as grab its ContentID.

That is because you don't resign them, you simply put them in the package for the mw3 update(I'm referring to the 4.21.X firmware and above)

I don't no how to do that and I'm on 3.55 can you help me with this ?

are we now able to switch to DEX with REBUG without going back to 3.55? I hope soo!!
