It was only yesterday where habs_power_SGK (a Team SGK moderator) made a very interesting comment. I didn't know whether to believe it or not, but what he said was that there's to be a CFW available for release, to install on OFW 4.31. And I quote,

I wouldn't have believed it if something like this was said a year ago, but with how far the PS3 scene has progressed since then, only time will tell at this moment. What do we have to say about Sony on the other hand? That's completely different, it wasn't protected by the world's best software security! Also don't forget that they weren't going to release that exploit until it got leaked by The Three Musketeers. If the PS3's security is cracked then a lot of other securities will be as well and fedewral actions would be taken in many locations. Nobody wants to go to jail for a game console jailbreak.

Well, With Sony working in the ps4 that gives the real hackers more time and when the ps4 actually releases for sure Sony wont give a crap if a new jailbreak gets released sure it be hard but look how far the hackers for ps3 came. I mean now its possible to host on mw2 with a backup without a jailbreak. The people that hack on ps3 like the ones created jailbreaks for ps3s will most likely be able to make another jailbreak, GeoHot on the other hand I don't think he'll be making another jailbreak sadly.
