(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Team Cobra has something for their Cobra USB users as well. They have released a new PSX Launcher for those who play PS1 backups on their PS3. The new release is said to address problems where users reported NTSC games not working correctly on PAL consoles and vice versa. Here's the change log which includes how to launch a game with a region not native to your console or TV.

Some users have reported problems with some PAL ps1 games on NTSC systems and vice versa.
It is a bug that only affects a portion of users.
This package solves those problems.

Instructions: after selecting a ps1 game of different TV system with mmCM, launch the included application instead of starting the ps1 game with the disc icon. If the game is of your TV system or if you don't have this problem at all, we recommend to play the game using the disc icon, as always, as it is expected to have bigger compatibility.

from external....
make a folder at root called PSXISOS and drop all your iso's/.bins in there

then load directly from retro tab in multiman

From external?! You can't run from internal?

What if I want to play my PSX Discs? :ha!:

internal probably works also, ive just never tried
and multiman can copy a ps1 iso to HDD i think, though i would think it would put strain on the ps3 laser.

you can rip ps1 games to pc

I know man, I just meant I have all my PS1 and was joking that I could just play them off disc. One day I'll have to rip my discs tho so the data won't be lost to a scratch. Thanks for the reply! ^^
