QA Flagging might sound scary for you ps3 but its not, its really helpful, for instance when you want to go backwards in FW's like 4.41 Rogero to 4.21 Rebug if your ps3 is qa flagged you can just install the CFW from the Xmb without any hassle of using a "999" Downgrader
QA Flagging can be done many ways, im pretty sure if im correct Rebug updated there toolbox to allow you to be on 4.xx and enable QA Flag, so go to there site You must login or register to view this content. download there latest toolbox update download it install it then open rebug toolbox, go all the way to the right and there should be a option to enable qa flag
For 3.55 Users just install the pkg below open it and let it do its think, (it should beep a time or 2) then you are qa flagged
How can i tell if im QA Flagged?
if you arent on Rebug firmware you can check to see if you are qa flagged by hovering over network settings (dont click it) and press and hold the following button combo L1 + L2 + L3 + R1 + R2 + dpad down, if you did that correctly you should see 2 things Edy Viewer, and Debug Settings if you see those things after pressing dpad down you have succesfully qa flagged your ps3 and you can now update to any CFW even if you are on 4.41 you can install 3.55 or 4.21 you can install 3.55 And so on, hope this helps some of you who are getting errors when using downgraders

Actually, all you have to do is actually be running dex mode on your currently REX firmware. All swapped in toolbox.
Then just install the new all dex firmware right on top of it. provided it is higher in firmware. (prolly not necessary) but makes sense to me.
Then enjoy your dex console. Hopefully that helps. Im currently at work and saw this post. sorry for it sloppily written & possibly making more questions for you. lol
