BEFORE YOU START YOU MUST HAVE A E3 FLASHER

This brick seems to be the yellow light of death but its actually not

1. You have to open up your ps3 and install the E3 flasher

2.Once you have installed the E3 flasher you have to connect your Nor tristate you can locate that based on your mother board ( on e3 have the first button up find what mother board you have and find the Nor tristate and your GND) you can solder a wire from the Nor tristate to the GND or you can hold the wire their for 30 seconds all depend on you.

3. Once you have done that and turned on the ps3 to make sure it does not turn off you have to have the 1 button up and 3 button up and the rest down (This step is for the people that lost their dump/bkpps3.bin if you have your dump and is valid skip to step 5) click start and get your dump.

4. THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT YOU MUST CHECK THAT YOUR DUMP IS VALID IF IT IS NOT DO NOT CONTINUE!!!!! AND DO IT AGAIN TILL YOU GET A VALID DUMP.

5.Once you have made sure your dump is valid take your micro sd card and put it in the slot in the e3.

6. Press start and wait till it finishes (once done you can take off the wire that you soldered from the Nor tristate to the GND).

7.Rebuild your ps3 and your done.



You are going to have your ps3 open so the only things needed connected is the fan the battery and your turn on and off buttons

first you dont need a e3 flasher..and second this is alrdy postet to..why you guys dont use he search toolbar??

Look at the diffrence did you even read it his is a Dex to Cex mine is a Cex to Dex His is a 5 beeps mine is like the yellow light of death 3 beeps and a yellow light and flashes red come on read before you groan at my post i have had this problem for about a week and could not find a single post on ngu to help me with this problem i had to search on other websites :mad:

lol this is the same..brick is brick..and if you brick your ps3 on convert then you dont need a e3 flasher..a dongle or a psp is enough..because this is a different brick like on downgrading..if you get a brick on downgrade from ofw to cfw then you need to solver and a e3 flasher..but not on converting from cex2dex or dex2cex brick

What if i cant get a valid dump?

I have a good tutorial for those who are stuck in DEX, because he lost flash CEX.

If you cant get a valid dump your best choice is to find the dump that you did have you checked your sd card you might still have it from the last time you used your e3

i've got a bricked 40 gb fat nand when i wanted to flash my dex to cex in multiman,now i tryed 2 different dongles both are working but they don't put me in fsm,and yes they are on downgrade payload. but still i've got the bricked bleeps.
