To quote, roughly translated: Italian developer Alexander of PS3Mod updated Control Fan Utility to version v1.8.1. See below for the changelog.

this is the latest version with added 4.46 payloads..you got the older versions..this one is released yesterday..

Where's the link to the english 1?
today my ps3 was making some loud noises while i was hosting mw3 so i installed this and found out my CPU is very high in the 70's, i got the fat model ps3 running DEX, havnt had a problem before with it just recently. do i need a new fan or what, any advice?

converted dex consoles use automaticly more power then cex consoles..

50 degrees normal temperature fan in the quiet and slow mode
60-70 degree temperature extreme susceptibility in the Middle fan mode
70-80+ degrees TOO HOT BLOWER WORKS AT THE LIMIT
80+ WARNING YLOD

fastest and easiest way is to renew the termalpast and relocate the ps3 to a other place..with more space at the back..

I cant quote for some reason ... Anyways thanks, so until i replace the thermalpaste do i put my fan on manual on semi-high to keep the CPU cooler or would putting the fan on constant high make things worse?

idk dude..you need to look how your ps3 react..i cant tell you wich option is the best one for your ps3..sorry..
