So have you been banned on PSN or you do not use PSN at all, and that Friends list is just useless space on the XMB. Well here is a mod by exofreak that will allow you to Integrate Facebook into the XMB's friends category. The developer states this mod should only be used on PS3 Consoles who are banned or do not plan on accessing PSN.. Check out all the details from exofreak below.


This is a mod i have been working on for a few hours. Basically if you got banned or cant access PSN and your friends category is empty, you can use this mod to have the basic functions of the friends category (block list,
add new friend etc).

BUT HERES THE CATCH it uses facebook to achive them.. eg, message box would take you to your psn messages normally but now it will redirect you to your facebook mesages instead! basically its facebook integration into the xmb.


How to do it:
-Unrar the file from this link You must login or register to view this content.
-Copy xmlhost to the root of the hdd
-Than from multiman enable dev_blind and replace catgory_friend.xml (dev_blind>vsh>resource>explore>xmb)
-Now log into facebook from the main browser with cookies enabled.
-Once logged in all options will be availble.


Notice:
-Dont try this mod on a unbanned console or a console that goes online
-Backup xmb file just in case
-Mod was made for Rogero 4.41 but will work on all even 3.55


I just did this mod cause i was tired of having an empty friends category.

i seen this but didnt read it until now looks pretty cool,
i think with somthing like this it be nice if some got a server like on 360 freestyle dash to play link on system link online like online lan partys that be nice to see on ps3 with out have to use all these program to change ur seeting for it all to work just have everything ready to go on the ps3

sure there is more what we can do..im working long time with xmb coding and you can integrade many stuffs..but there is a bigger risk to get banned...

true i think mm should do somthing like this if it could be done that way cause i would like to make a mod and so some cfw friend before going online with it and im sure alot of ppl would use it to,cause there alot on 360 who do
