(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey for those who have used my last tutorial and have had the issue with the NAT Type being moderate or strict you may know that this makes it difficult to get host and have fun with your mods online :P
This tutorial will show you a new way to real time mod over WiFi and have an Open NAT!!!Magglass1

If you have used my other tutorial before on how to do this just and turned network sharing on then I want you to turn it off seeing as the first step requires internet sharing to be off

Now finally the tutorial. Read Carefully Smile

Firstly you want to connect the Ethernet cable to your ps3 then to your computer (Leave ps3 turned off)
Now once this is done go into network and shearing center then go into change adapter settings (you should see connections etc in here)
You must login or register to view this content.

Now once you are in here you want to select both your wireless network and the one your ps3 is connected to, once they are selected right click on one of them and click on "Bridge Connections" your internet will probably cut out during the bridging but don't panic this is normal(Mine is already bridged which is why I don't have that option)
Once they are bridged you will end up with a green looking thing called Network Bridge
You must login or register to view this content.

That's the easy steps out the way now for the harder steps Smile

Ok so now we have a network bridge we want to right click on it then click on properties this will open up a new window and you will have different options that you can change but we want to change is TCP/IPv4 just double click on it and you will get another window come up
You must login or register to view this content.

Ok now from the new window we want to go into the alternate configuration tab
You must login or register to view this content.

You will see a bunch of boxes and things which we are going to need to fill in so click the bubble that says User Configured this will make all the boxes be editable now this is the tricky part so firstly you must know your default router (can be found my going into cmd and typing ip config then looking at the wifi connection and looking at default router it will could look like one of these 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1, 10.1.1.1, 10.0.0.1 etc) mine is 192.168.0.1 just so you understand what I'm doing. So in the first box you want to type in the first 3 numbers of your default router (mine is 192.168.0) so at after the 0 on mine im going to put the number I want my computers ip to be (can be anything) but I choose 13, in the next box just type in 255.255.255.0 its the same for everyone and in the box that says "Default Gateway" type in your default router (192.168.0.1 etc) now you have setup the ips. Now In the DNS Boxes you want to type 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 now click ok to everything and go to your ps3 Smile

Now on your ps3 you want to go to network settings and choose ethernet then do custom now set everything to automatic except when you get to the ip option (3rd option or something) choose manual.
Settings:
IP Address: The one you put in pc but change the end ip so mine is 192.168.0.250
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Router/Gateway: The one you put in your pc so mine is 192.168.0.1
DNS1: 8.8.8.8
DNS2: 8.8.4.4

now go to the end and test connection (IT WILL MOST LIKELY FAIL ON INTERNET CONNECTION) do not panic just restart the ps3 and it should be connected Smile

Now if your ports are still not open then you must port forward I can not explain how to do this as every router is different but just forward the ports to your computer ip if that doesn't work then forward to your ps3 ip Smile
You can find the ports on websites just google How to open ports for black ops 2 etc

Note: In target manager you will have to change the ip range to your default router so in my target manager I would have 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.255 I think you can work out what yours will be Smile

I only got 1 problem. When I connect my ps3 to a mw3 rte tool, I get the error " Cannot find processID". I have an debug eboot and it works when I use a wired connection. Do I have to change something in the settings?

go to debug settings and change debug network mode to single if its on dual if its still not working then make sure you have ps3tmapi_net.dll in the tools folder Smile

The play station doesn't need to be connected to anything extra does it just hook the Ethernet up to the pc and have te ps3 connected to your router though wireless wifi and then follow your steps
