I don't know if this has been posted before, but enjoy
Things needed :
1. Rebug Toolbox
2. Jailbroken PS3
3. FileZilla
4. Notepad++ Click You must login or register to view this content. for download!
Note : Don't know if it works for other CFW than rebug tools, but there is an alternative way you could do this, and if thats the case go to the multiman tutorial below the rebug

REBUG CFW's
1. Make sure your PS3 is jailrboken, then if it is proceed
2. Download rebug toolbox You must login or register to view this content.
3. Install the pkg *For those who doesn't know how to do that,
You must login or register to view this content.
*Drag pkg to the root of your USB, then unplug the USB from your computer, plug it into your PS3 then go to install package files folder then install.
If you still don't know =
You must login or register to view this content.
4. Once thats done run rebug toolbox, go back to your laptop and run a FTP Server such as filezilla on your computer then connect it like so.

5. Go to dev_rebug

*If on multiman it should be dev_blind
*Then vsh

Then Resource
You must login or register to view this content.
Then Explore
You must login or register to view this content.
Then xmb

Now for the sake of this tutorial I will be only showing you how to edit the *Friends* Tab on your PS3.
- Message Box
- Chat
- Recents
- Add a Friend
- Blocked people
6. Now you want to drag this file highlighted, *category_friend.xml*
You must login or register to view this content.
To your desktop or anywhere you'd like
*MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ONE THAT IS A BACKUP, AND ONE THAT YOU'RE GOING TO EDIT, JUST FOR SAFETY PURPOSES
*7. Right click *category_friend.xml* and click EDIT WITH NOTEPAD++

8. Something like this will popup

9. Press CTRL + F and paste this *<View id="seg_new_chat">* or scroll down until you see this :

10. Now the text that I have highlighted

Has already been changed, so please note that in your head
Now the bit where I highlighted

You want to change the text to whatever you want it to be, just beetween the <strings> </strings>
11. One thats done

This will be called *title_rsc* or something like that, you want to delete the _rsc just so its let with only *title*
then File > Save
or CTRL + S Whatever suits you
and proceed!The one that has been edited is the Chat,
if you'd like to do the rest find these codes below by scrolling down or CTRL + F and finding it

then drag the file back to FileZilla!
Into the following folder dev_rebug/vsh/resource/explore/xmb/ HERE!

13. Overwrite and press okay!
All done!
For users that aren't on debug, using either multiman or anytype of homebrews that can rewrite dev_flash, read this :
For multiman you want to run multiman, go to the second tab in multiman and keep scrolling down until you see : REWRITE DEV_FLASH or something like that. I cannot show a screenshot at the moment but I will once I get back to it!

is it the same way as for if i want to change the "Game" tab and others?
