What you will need:
A USB stick
A friend with CFW or a prebackup made by someone with a modded me.comment
*Your friend would have to restore his CFW PS3 fully so the backup size will be less than 20MB.

Instructions:
Have a friend make a modded comment for you on his CFW PS3. There should be 12 lines in the modded comment, 6 being the middle space and 12 being at the bottom ect.
Once your friend does that, he will need to make a backup on his PS3. He will need his USB to put the backup there.
Once the backup is made, he will send it to you as a download. Download it.
Now, you will see that there is a export file right there. Drag that Export file under PS3 folder in your USB drive. In that export file, you should see backup>numberID ect.
Go to your PS3, System settings > Backup utility > Restore and click your USB > that ID.
It will state it is off another PS3. Ignore it. Once completed, you have successfully gotten a modded comment.
*Make sure you know what user on the PS3 your friend is making it on

Do I need a CID for this?
No you do not, but if you want modded patches or such, then feel free to send it to your friend and you will have everything.

What if I don't have a friend with a CFW?
Use the download above and that's a modded comment. There might be services soon based on this or people giving free backups.

Make sure your friend doesn't have an Elgato / HDPVR set up and all this is via HDMI.

Will my friend's CID be exposed?
I'm not sure but your friend can always spoof his CID to CID 00000000000 or a banned one and it will still work.

Will my friend's account be there?
No accounts will be transferred.

Will this restore my PS3?
Yes it will, so make sure you don't do it if you have important stuff on it!

If you want this premade comment backup, you just need to use USER 3 on your PS3 and it will show the symbols.

Contrary to Popular Belief, There is a DEX CFW That can have Backup Utillity. PS3ITA 4.55 . In CFW SETUP V3, change the sys_conf_plugin from DEX to CEX and Backup Utillity option appears in Your System Settings.
