(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi, I've got a new hotfix bypass for PS Home, and this one is a permanent fix. Sony is checking our firmware version by looking at the headers from libhttp.sprx. So for example if you're on 4.50 the headers would show libhttp/4.5.0-000 in memory, and to the servers. All the bypass tool did was change those values to libhttp/4.6.0-000 so the server thinks you're on 4.60 firmware.

But the way I'm about to tell you is a permanent fix. Meaning you won't have to use a bypass tool anymore. This works by simply replacing the libhttp.sprx file on your PS3 with that of 4.60 OFW libhttp.sprx. All you gotta do is drop the new one in dev_blind/sys/external. You won't encounter any issues doing this. Back up your old if you want, but I don't think it really matters. Here's the sprx from 4.60 OFW.

There's no need for a virus check. It's a PS3 file. How could it harm your PC? It's literally taken straight from 4.60 OFW. Anyways, if a virus check is needed I'll make one.

Also, dev_blind is dev_flash, it's just writeable dev_flash. You have you use dev_blind if you want to add files to dev_flash.

Error… Cat invasion!
Well, I'm trying this and I can't seem to find dev_blind lol. I see dev_flash but it's not writable. I might be blind or something.

Edit: NVM, I just gotta enable the write access to dev_flash , sorry I'm dumb.
Nice release btw, time to go use Tustins PS Home toolkit Smile

Thanks for this, although I haven't been on PS3 / PS Home for the past month or so (don't really plan on going back to PS Home) It's always nice to see someone share.

You can do it multiple ways. Method 1: Go into multiman (either 4.60, or 4.55 depending what cfw you're on) go into the settings tab scroll down until you find mount dev_flash as dev_blind (or similar) then enable it, it will allow you to write to flash via dev_blind until you restart your PS3. Method 2: Install ccapi 2.50 look for ccapi webman on google and take the webftp_server_ccapi.sprx create a folder on usb
called plugins and put the webftp_server_ccapi.sprx file there. restart your PS3, go into the internet type in 127.0.0.1 a screen should pop up with different options click on setup then look for enable dev_blind on start up scroll down click save then restart your PS3, from now on every time you load up your PS3 dev_blind will be accessible.
