Looks decent, make sure you actually test the Custom Firmware yourself before releasing it to the community. Many people call themselves releasing their Custom Firmware's without even testing them. Better to be safe than sorry and make a lot of people get their consoles bricked.

I never trust a CFW unless the maker makes a cfw for 3.55 lol

There has, and are currently many tests being preformed with this cfw as it has many features that have not been tried nor implemented in any of the releases you might see around the scene today, I personally test each and every aspect of the console and the operations after each and every alteration, tweak edit or change. This is to prevent bricks, bad performances, and the overall lack of quality from which im trying to build. Overall I would like to creat a new firmware for the scene that is as unique and modern as it is reliable and economic. Not just your standard, but a lil something different for others to try, and help secure users along the way. To prevent bans and such. The one feature iv been experimenting with, which I must admit has had a few faults would be the xmb Dualbooting, which utilizes a false version of the OFW from which I used to create this Firmware, It spoofs the files onto the console and softboots into an OFW mode from which helps in stealth when it comes to online access. The problem iv had would be in hangtimes, and crashes during the transition and while in OFW mode. There is an option in the settings menu to revert back to full CEX . The goal is to fix these bugs in the near future.

VSH uploads three encrypted files to Sony server which includes:
CI.TMP (console information): internal/external IPs, router information (brand, model), console firmware information;
MI.TMP (media information): latest title ID, timestamp, etc;
PTL.TMP (process information?): list of running processes and plugins, timestamps, etc.
They are stored at /dev_hdd0/home/USER_ID/community in encrypted form. An algorithm uses a modified Mersenne Twister PRNG to generate cipher stream from SHA-1 HMAC of your Open PSID and a fixed key from vsh.elf (9D E0...). An example of such files can be found here (already decrypted and cleaned from personal data): You must login or register to view this content. mirror You can encrypt/decrypt/verify these files using commtool: You must login or register to view this content. mirror (don't forget to place valid HMAC key). If you want to see or use its source code then download it from: You must login or register to view this content. mirror

With xmb ofw/cfw debug look at habib/ferrox offset's in lv2 and lv1 and compare using ida and hope your'e good a reversing.
