(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Since the offical 4.65 update came out, I figured it'd be helpful to create a spoof for ITA users (including myself) as a way to keep the ability to get online after the 4.65 update becomes mandatory. I tested this myself and had a friend test as well to ensure that there's no risk of bricking or RSOD.

Edit: Just occured to me I didn't mention what to do, place the ps3ita_loader_v0.2.pkg file onto the root of your usb. Then considering which version you're on, place the ps3ita folder from either 4.55 or 4.50 onto your usb. For anyone who isn't sure which you've got installed just check with target manager it'll either say 4.5.5 or 4.5.0 and that's it, run the installed ps3ita_loader_v.0.2 on your xmb and once the PS3 resets you'll be successfully spoofed to 4.65

+ If you have any other spoofer installed, install 3.55 downgrader DEX, then install PS3ita 4.50/4.55, then install the spoofer.

why not just reinstall 4.50/4.55 through recovery then use this spoofer. you dont need to install dex downgrader :p

This is not needed since Sony Thought it would stop us they trying to get people off CFW 4.21 And below

i can not get this to work need some help plz

i have PS3ITA 4.50 DEx
in system settings it saying 4.50

i copy the pkg. file and the folder for 4.50
clicked install the pkg file from XMB screen the screen turns black then its load back up i check the system settings and its still saying
4.50,

what have i done wrong?

You need to use the manager to enable the spoofer I believe. Doesn't just automatically spoof for you.

what manager? ITA 1.62?
