10-12-2014, 09:39 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Over the past week or two, I've seen countless people asking about how to fix the 009 error. It's an error that happens when your firmware is not high enough to play the game. If you have a 4.60-only game, and you have 4.50 firmware, you can't play the game. But, alas, there's hope! Many of you know the multiman method. Launch a game from multiman, and it automatically checks for firmware. If the game is higher firmware, then it will ask you if you wish to patch it your current firmware. That's great and all, but does not work for everybody -- myself, included. What if you want to patch multiple games, but don't want to keep launching multiman over and over?

By using PSNpatch (note I use 2.47 - You must login or register to view this content. OR You must login or register to view this content. [STEALTH Version]), it's just a simple matter of launching the application, pressing the button on your controller, labeled, "L2", proceeding to press "START", and "START" again. Your PS3 will restart, and when it starts back up, you will be able to play higher firmware games on your system, as long as your system is 4.46 firmware or above (Good news to rebug and PS3ITA, eh? Winky Winky ) If you receive an 007 error, try signing in, as it usually refers to when a psn game has been activated whilst have your console id restored. If this helps anybody, let me know. And I hope to not see any more of these threads asking about how to fix this error. Expect to see this error a lot more as more games come out. So don't be ignorant; use PSNpatch!

Only dumb asses trust Deluxe/Super. If you're sending your folders first, of course, you're gonna get ripped.
