(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey NGU, today Im going to show you guys how to convert your PS3 from CEX(retail) to DEX(developer). It's very simple to do and i'll show all the steps.
Im not responsible if you brick your Console or have any kind of problems.
NOTES:
*On this tutorial I will use Rebug 4.21.
*NO DISK ON PS3 DOING THIS.
*Downloads below.

1- Create a folder on your USB Stick(FAT32) called PS3 and inside that folder create another one called UPDATE and inside this folder you put the 3.55.4 PS3UPDAT.PUP. Now put your USB Stick on the Right USB port of your PS3, and go to Sistem Update > via Storage Media. This will downgrade your ps3 from 4.xx to Rebug 3.55.4 REX Edition.

2- Now you have to put the eEIDRKDumper.pkg on the root of your USB Stick than install and run it on your PS3. Don't worry about the blackscreen.

3- On your PC, install FileZilla FTP Client. Run it and put your PS3 IP to connect. After you connect, go to dev_hdd0/tmp than drag and drop the eid_root_key to your Desktop.

4- On your USB Stick, go to PS3/UPDATE/and change the 3.55 PUP to the 4.21 PUP. Plug your USB Stick on your PS3 and install Rebug 4.21 REX.

5- Now on your PS3 go to Package Manager > Install PKG Files > PS3 Hard Disk and install Rebug ToolBox than run it.

6- With your USB Stick plugged on the right slot, go to Utilities on RebugToolBox and find Export Flash to File than click on it and wait. When it's done, click OK and Quit Rebug ToolBox.

7- On your PC, install OpenSSL (put the c2d folder on your Desktop) and open the c2d folder. You will see some files but just run Win32 OpenSSL_Light. On this step: You must login or register to view this content. you just rename it to OpenSSL(delete Win32) than keep clicking on NEXT. On this step: You must login or register to view this content. select the second option and keep clicking on next and Install it.

8- Now go to your USB Stick and you will see your PS3 flash. Just drag and drop it to your Desktop with the eid_root_key. On the Desktop, put the PS3 flash and the eid_root_key on the c2d folder.

9- Rename the eid_root_key to eid_root_key.bin and your flash rename to flashCEX.bin.

10- Now press Ctrl + Shift + Right click and click on Open CMD here.

11- Now you type: c2d.exe eid_root_key.bin flashCEX.bin flashDEX.bin 82 and press ENTER.

12- Now you can close the CMD, on the c2d folder you will see a new file called: flashDEX.bin.

13- Rename the CEX flash to CEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN/NANDBIN and the DEX flash to DEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN/NANDBIN. (IF YOUR PS3 IS SLIM, RENAME TO NORBIN. IF YOUR PS3 IS FAT, RENAME TO NANDBIN).

14- Now copy the CEX and the DEX flashes to your USB Stick. When it's done, plug your USB Stick on the right USB port of your PS3.

15- Go to Rebug ToolBox, go to CEX/DEX and click on Rewrite Target ID in Flash than Click YES. when it's done, quit Rebug ToolBox and reboot your PS3.

16- Go to Rebug ToolBox again, go to CEX/DEX, but now click on Swap LV2 Kernel and press OK to Reboot your PS3.

17- You are on DEX. Easy, yeah?
