What about this? This is what the F5 key does, does your tool have this option?
F5 refresh your PS3 in other word it's keeping the game running, when the game crash it stuck on some instruction when you press F5 you tell your ps3 to continue/try again.

I don't understand what you mean by "Refresh your PS3" ? Your basically saying un-freeze your ps3 when you froze? S:
