I can confirm that this method does work. I downloaded "EID RK Dumper for 4.46 (dump to usb000)" because I was on rebug 4.46 and then put it on my USB and installed on the PS3 then ran it and it put my key on the flash drive then I just followed the rest of Kryptus' tutorial and it worked perfectly. This is a very easy way to get around the freezing.

Download (Whatever 4.xx CEX LV2 kernal you're on): You must login or register to view this content. Run and wait for the beeps and reboot, you will have your eid_root_key in your usb in the right slot and then run IDPSet and make the CEX & DEX dumps then, switch to CEX (If you're on dex)

For converting from CEX > DEX & DEX > CEX you don't need to dump eid_root_key each time, just leave it in usb and just choose the convert to DEX when you want to convert to DEX and convert to CEX when you want to convert to DEX. :p

I know. I did it both times since most people watching are only doing one (Dex to Cex or Cex to Dex). I showed it both times to make sure it wasn't missed.
