DISABLE ANY OTHER SPOOFER BEFORE STARTING. BASICALLY, REVERT BACK TO NON-SPOOFED MODE.

So as you guys can tell, Sony just released OFW 4.70. Since most spoofers for non-cobra users are useless right now, it still works for people using COBRA CFW.

PSNPatch 4.66.3 by KW EDITED TO 0470 SPOOF using the one from brewology: You must login or register to view this content.

Install the PKG file that comes with the download and install on ps3.
Run the pkg on your ps3. With a USB connected to ps3.
Replace the PSNPATCH.cfg file on the root of USB with the one in the download (running PSN patch for the first time creates one on your usb)
Go onto PSNPATCH and at the bottom it should say cobratoolbox open that and there should be an option to spoof to 4.70.
Spoof it, ps3 will restart. Check your system software, it should say 4.70
Go back to PSN Patch and press X to disable syscalls, etc
And now go online.
This method is meant to get you online, not all games will work.

Download Lucid's files both the cfg and pkg he posted on here and put it on your usb, after that plug it in your ps3 right slot ofcourse and then install psnpatch, then start psnpatch press select should say cobra options or toolbox and then press triangle it should say are you sure and press start. works on habib 4.66 cobra

If it doesn't work, make sure first you are on a Cobra CFW. Also make sure Cobra is enabled. Make sure to be on the latest version 4.66.33. Get it at store.brewology.com.

Also, instead of using the psnpatch.cfg, you can edit the default.cfg with notepad++. Located at /dev_hdd0/game/BLJS10018/USRDIR/default.cfg

P.S. Anyone got a link to OFW 4.70 .PUP file? So I can try and my Playerkp420 4.70 v1.00 CFW/MFW. Smile

Okay, So Sony published another stupid update and you cant go online? Follow these steps to spoof and be right back online with Cobra CFW's in no time.

Open it with notepad or any text editor and changed the highlighted field to the latest firmware version out by Sony.
So your Screen will look like this:

# PSNPatch Configuration File. Made at run-time.

# Spoofs for IDPS & PSID
idps=00000000000000000000000000000000
psid=00000000000000000000000000000000

# RAP to RIF handling
# First number to start search for a valid user account (usually 1)
user_account=1

# Path to read rap/klic files from
rap_path=/dev_usb000/exdata/

# Cobra systems can be spoofed to any version in cobra toolbox menu
cobra_spoof_version=0466
cobra_spoof_revision=64645

The only thing you need to do is change these 2 Things to your Console ID and the latest Sony update.

# Spoofs for IDPS & PSID
idps=00000000000000000000000000000000 <------ (Your Console ID, if its 000... The spoof wont work)
psid=00000000000000000000000000000000

# RAP to RIF handling
# First number to start search for a valid user account (usually 1)
user_account=1

# Path to read rap/klic files from
rap_path=/dev_usb000/exdata/

# Cobra systems can be spoofed to any version in cobra toolbox menu

To me, everything works perfectly. I just edited THE BOTH default.cfg AND psnpatch.cfg with notepad++ I replaced the 0466 with 0470 and did the psnpatch thingy and now im playing black ops 2 online just fine.

3. opened filezilla connected to my ps3 (using multiman)

4. in filezilla on the right side (the ps3 side), i opened dev_hddo, then i opened game, then i found BLJS1080, or something like that

5. inside of the BLJS folder i opened USDIR and in there there will bw 2 cfg files "default.cfg, psnpatch.cfg, dont even touch those ones

6. take the psnpatch.cfg file that cam with the new psnpatch 4.66.33 and drag it in there select yes to replace the old one exit file zilla and refresh in multiman or what ever ftp client you use,

7. ten go to psnpatch press select and you should see in the bottom left corner hit triangle to spoof to 4.70.

that is it that is what i did for mine to work, let me know how it goes.

i would make a video bro but i'm worried about screwing something up by doing it to many times or something, just try to follow the tut. that i just posted it should be of some help.
