DISABLE ANY OTHER SPOOFER BEFORE STARTING. BASICALLY, REVERT BACK TO NON-SPOOFED MODE.

So as you guys can tell, Sony just released OFW 4.70. Since most spoofers for non-cobra users are useless right now, it still works for people using COBRA CFW.

PSNPatch 4.66.3 by KW EDITED TO 0470 SPOOF using the one from brewology: You must login or register to view this content.

Install the PKG file that comes with the download and install on ps3.
Run the pkg on your ps3. With a USB connected to ps3.
Replace the PSNPATCH.cfg file on the root of USB with the one in the download (running PSN patch for the first time creates one on your usb)
Go onto PSNPATCH and at the bottom it should say cobratoolbox open that and there should be an option to spoof to 4.70.
Spoof it, ps3 will restart. Check your system software, it should say 4.70
Go back to PSN Patch and press X to disable syscalls, etc
And now go online.
This method is meant to get you online, not all games will work.

If it doesn't work, make sure first you are on a Cobra CFW. Also make sure Cobra is enabled. Make sure to be on the latest version 4.66.33. Get it at store.brewology.com.

Also, instead of using the psnpatch.cfg, you can edit the default.cfg with notepad++. Located at /dev_hdd0/game/BLJS10018/USRDIR/default.cfg


P.S. Anyone got a link to OFW 4.70 .PUP file? So I can try and my Playerkp420 4.70 v1.00 CFW/MFW. Smile

yo i did as tiold and still saying 4.66 spoof, and i replaced the file lke you said to in multiman what am i doing wrong

delete psnpatch and after reinstal but dont start,go to mm in the directory dev_hdd0/game/BLJS10018/USRDIR/default.cfg copy and paste your psnpatch.cfg here after start psnpatch and select removewebman and spoof 4.70 x and restart

Follow this instruction if you fail:


WEBMAN WILL NOT WORK ON THIS SO YOU NEED TO DISABLE IT

1. Delete psnpatch (for others who have tried and it didnt work)
2. Reinstall psnpatch but dont run it yet
3. Navigate to dev_hdd0/game/BLJS10018/USRDIR/ (Using multiman) and paste the psnpatch.cfg file ((THAT CAME WITH THE DOWNLOAD !!!! ))(( -KEEP your old file psnpatch.cfg safe into a Folder on mmCM Desktop ))
4. Start up psnpatch, now press select, now DISABLE/REMOVE webMAN, as webMAN is also spoofing to 4.66 yet the PS3 is going to 4.70 and is creating a Conflict.
5. Press Left on D-pad, then press Start, then X. PS3 will restart, webMAN is now gone (you can get it back)
6. Now go back into psnpatch and re-do the spoof, now it will work.
7. redo the spoof if you enable webman but you will need to disable everytime to spoof to 4.70

just had to edit the .cfg file and insert my idps and change the spoof to 470 and it worked on habib cobra 4.66 v1

are ppl having problems with webman because they are not using disc? i am confused i got this working without doing any of this but i havnt done my other ps3 yet which game is off hdd not disc so will i have this prob with that ps3
