Found this on PS3Hax by JeTz MoDz. I am a fan of The Evil Within and am tired of playing on the 1.01 modded PKG cause it's buggy as hell. So here I am sharing this.

Freezes at chapter 4
(get to a checkpoint in chapter 4, be sure it's saved, then go install the modded EBOOT and pickup where you left off)

Wrong Section and I wouldn't recommend using an eboot for Evil Within. It fucks your save at Chp.4 as I've had previously learned last update. You're basically forced to make a new save and restart SP as you are given an error. Now, it could be fixed on 1.02, but you won't be sure until you get to Chp.4.

You're right. I just got to CH. 4 and it did the same shit as the 1.01 Cheat PKG. I just took off the eboot to see if it works.

Yep told you, doesn't matter if you remove eboot once used it fucks your save. You should update the thread notifying that it does that!

Well yeah, I have the first 3 chapters memorized, I can just brush through them like nothing. He replied to me on PS3Hax and said he already knows and is working on it.

Alright, yeah I haven't played the game in a 2 months because of this issue. Please quote me if it's fixed.
