GENERAL TIPs / Task to perform before a CFW Install:

MAKE SURE THERE IS NO GAME DISC INSIDE THE CONSOLE
UN-MOUNT actual game.This really important for example, cobra systems with webMAN, because webMAN mounts last played game on boot. If an Update folder exist in that game. It will install the official firmware
ALWAYS verify the PUP's MD5
Disable any Spoofs
If you do not own a HARDWARE FLASHER or have the means to recover from a possiable brick. DO NOT RUSH to install a CFW / MFW Release. Allow the community to conduct test as some CFW do not get proper testing and even ones that do some models can act differenly so its best to give it at least a 3 day wait. Usually brick reports happen the first 24-48 Hours.
Turn off internet connections when updating CFW's.( Wifi and Ethernet cable.)
It's good practice to QA Flag your console. before installing a new CFW.
Always a good idea to dump your eid_root_key
Can be useful to take 1 or 2 dumps of you flash after a successful upgrade.
Backup your Game Saves and edat/rif files to a pendrive, external HDD or FTP to PC.

i have a question when will there be a cfw 4.75 update im on 4.70 i cant find 4.75 cfw update ? but is it fine to download 4.75 OFW whats the different im new to this plz and thank you

Which USERNAME and PASSWORD of the page you talk about it?

If you are on OFW 4.70 yes its fine to UPDATE to OFW 4.75 . But if you are on CFW do not UPDATE to OFW if dont want loose your CFW or you need FLASH back again to CFW. Back to OFW if your PS3 is DOWNGRADABLE you need to downgrade to OFW 3.55 then QA flag your PS3 and install what ever CFW you wish.

Alexander is testing his new CFW 4.75 FERROX with few different brand PS3 console before he release public. Not one I guess test my new MFW/CFW 4.75 so we dont know and we never know till.
