(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So guys , iv'e been on NGU for maybe 4 or 5 years now and things have shifted i know my account says 2014 but whatever straight to point who thinks modding has changed since the (2010-2013/Original Modders/Coders) VS the new and upcoming modders where only a select few knows how to use there jailbreak at all you go in lobby now on any game that's hack-able the whole room knows your cheating now before anything happens because everyone now has a jailbreak and shows it off but my honest opinion BAN RISK was a lot lower back in the days because sony had a little more tolerance for jailbroken consoles then now you wanna know WHY well it's because the modding community wasn't as big my estimated guess is that there's nearly 50,000-100,000 or more jailbreak consoles out in the world now let's be real people that has jailbreak now doesn't even know the difference between hacking and modding or editing and coding only thing that i see there really good at is booting people offline mostly tearsCrying

Modding became shit once RTM was released, it should of been kept private among the best modders imo. smh.

i feel like trophy hacking should of stayed private and those who discovered it kept shut... yes the trophys may not be legit... but theres still a glory factor on finding that rare trophy folder you know ?

I find rare folders pretty nice. That is, until AoJ's dumbass self gets 'em leaked to NGU. The best things about trophy hacking are the things no one has figured out: how to fix a synced folder (yes, it can be done through HxD, but very few people know or will tell how; Drizzy included), retrieving a trophy's signature without having the folder (would be incredibly helpful for cancelled games, or impossible games, i.e. Driftopia, NBA Jam, Don't Be Late), how to convert extracted .trp files into a working folder. Red-Eye allows us to do the first step: the actual extracting of the trp, but right now, it's useless, unless we can make a real and working folder, as his tool doesn't include all the files we need in a folder, i.e. PARAM.SFO, etc., and if any advances were made, Toro and Issho would be a synch. Though, Issho can be done if we change the ftp server on the game...still fucking difficult, without someone like maybe 1UP or An0ny. How to install trophies without rebuilding, and without error. (I believe the tropsys.dat could be the answer.) How to convert Fairytale Fights (HK) into one working folder, how to make a folder work on any account without rebuilding. Or, can a PS4 trophy folder be made to sync on a PS3? Hell, just having a way to parse Sony's pkg servers, so as to retrieve the Driftopia, NBA Jam, and AERO-CROSS pkgs would be a nice start. But none of those things will see fruition.

modding was a lot more fun during the Mw2 days when it first started, I would do anything to go back to those days again or to have them again

Gasp If I remember right, Portal uses dev console or whatever to input code. It's on by default on PC, right? Shark or whoever's tool, would have allowed input a string of text, such as "sv_portal_placement_never_fail" would mean I can shoot portals on any surface, or ent_create_portal_companion_cube would have allowed creating companion cubes! :( With the portal placement, it would've been similar to noclip, in that I can explore the world.

Lego is life. & i have some zombies sprx menus and something similer to frost engine but for bo1 by me n milky... always enjoyed portal. maybe when i get better at ppc and finding addresses ill give it a shoot
