(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Yes, there is a new update out, this has been established.

This is the Black Friday of the PS3 Section, so let's try and keep things organized, no need to create a thread asking what you can do to get online. Currently the only way to get online will be getting onto one of the FW's listed below. Once/if a spoofer is created for other FW's it will be well known and you will find it with ease.

What do I do to get online?
First, try to sign in like usual, you may be fine and will not be prompted to update, if that is the case please quote me with the FW you are on so I can add it to the list below.

If you are prompted with an update screen you can,
1. Wait for a spoofer, plain and simple. No telling how long it will take for one to be released.
or
2. Change to one of the following firmwares.

Firmwares still able to play online

4.70 Rebug D-REX and up work fine.
4.50ita Working fine, so we can assume 4.65 is working fine as well.

EDIT* This pretty much confirms what xJustJesse said, that us DEX/D-REX users don't gotta worry about anything.

It seems most of the newer DEX firmwares work fine as xJustJesse stated.

If you are currently on CEX and do not feel like waiting for new spoofer, follow the guide linked below.

Well I know that 4.76 works and so does 4.70 but i still don't know how high the risk is of getting banned is without spoofing.

Do a barrel roll!
Arch spoofer is out it supports everything up to 4.75 with one supporting 4.76 releasing later. Check his website. Your welcome.

Haxor!
Is there a higher risk of ban when signing-in with a DEX version lower than 4.78?

No, or atleast I do not think so. I was on 4.50ita until November and remember at times not needing a spoofer and then I updated to 4.75 Rebug D-REX and haven't been using a spoofer for months, this update was a small speedbump for CEX modders and simply a line drawn on the ground for DEX users and we can keep on keeping on.

This is a common error for cfw, but lately the servers have been really slow and signing people out. My best suggestion is you 1. turn of media server connection [network settings] 2. change your primary dns to 8.8.8.8 and your secondary dns to 8.8.4.4 That fixes most network errors involving signing out, this will completely fix your problem, but it will reduce the lag you get, and it will reduce the times you get signed out. It's what I have been using lately.
