(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); turn on target manager and turn on your PS3 and connect the two

1) set ps3 into debug mode by right clicking and go to > reset mode then select > debug

2) press Ctrl + R on your keyboard to reset your PS3

you will see lv1 n lv2 soft reboot ( Notice your screen on PS3 will go black this is normal )

3) now right click your ps3 in target manager and select > install a window pops up select your pkg and open it

4)now to keep an eye on it and watch the progress select > Console Output under your PS3 in Target Manager
after it says
Package installation status: 100
Package installation path: /dev_hdd0/game/NPUB30886

the game is done installing and you can reset your PS3 to normal or install other .pkgs

5) to reset your PS3 to normal so you can see the screen again right click it go to > reset mode then select > System Software Mode

6) then once again press Ctrl + R on your keyboard to reset your ps3

you will see lv1 n lv2 soft reboot ( your screen will work again )

and thats it your done

*If you dont do Steps 1 & 2 this wont work you will get error saying you need newer SDK


you still need to patch the game to work on Dex I use Psnope you can use whatever you feel safe with

This is a bit complicated you can just FTP over with filezila etc, into hdd0 dev packages

Even files over 4gb!

FileZilla can corrupt big files or leave parts out.

ypu you are right and using FileZilla or TMAPI you need to split files then transfer it. But using this method its faster and easier for me.

I tried this with bo3 when everyone was downloading the psn version before the game came out, it didn't work very well and ended up getting corrupted and black screening

I installed the bo3 psn version when it came out with ftp & filezilla & it transferred first time

Must be peoples settings as ive never had a problem with it.

Just use usb/external drive to transfer the hdd0_dev/packages if your getting errors, you can enable ntfs driver in multiman for files over 4gb

thanks for thsi but cant you just use fileziller or will it not tranfer the whole file

it will but Filezilla can corrupt files and brick your ps3 easily

PKG in the app_home path can be seen in the XMB
