I never normally post on ngu cuz I come accross hate but I'm not gonna let the silly people ruin it for the people who are in need.
Here is my 4.80 v1 cex cfw:
Made out of 4.78 ofw (cfw that is spoofed for psn access)
I will release a full 4.80 when pkgs like ccapi are updated.
As with any cfw install at your own risk but I have tested it on many consoles and my full release cfw NEVER bricks ps3s.
Please make sure you read the READ ME.txt in with the download.
There is also other documents with info for you that you will find useful.
If your gonna hate just jog on.

your welcome to steal my vsh if your struggling buddy ;p
Note to Joonie:
Open the files if you think there's anything dodgy buddy,
look at the signing and patching.

No need to downgrade since you are upgrading to a higher CFW. Just put pup file onto usb stick and update your ps3 from usb stick. I was on Rebug 4.78.2 and I upgraded to 4.80 with no problem so you should be fine.

yesterday i downgraded ps3 and went to rebug 4.78.1 and then i used psn patch and psninja after that i was able to get online,but when i tryed it today i wasnt able to get online and was asking me to update to 4.80.now if i upgrade to this cfw 4.80 and then use psn patch and psninja will i beable to get back online?sorry for the noob question but this is my first time lol
