Today i wanted to share with you my customized XMB. The only things i have changed are the lines.qrc, coldboot, & the system font. None of these files were created by me. I only found them throughout the internet a long time ago. Therefore i cannot give proper credit to the creators, but credit where credit is due.

***THIS TUTORIAL IS FOR REBUG CONSOLES ONLY!!***

Step 1.
Open up Rebug Toolbox

Step 2.
Connect your PC with any FTP client. (Personally, i use Filezilla)

Step 3.
Go to: dev_rebug > vsh > resource

Step 4.
Drag and drop the "qgl" folder and the "coldboot.raf" file (provided from the download, in the folder "PS3 - Rebug Coldboot & XMB Waves" > "vsh" > "resource") into the PS3 directory mentioned above

Step 5.
Go back to the root folder of "dev_rebug" then proceed to: data > font

Step 6.
In the download i provided, go to: PS3 Fonts > Custom PS3 Font. From there, drag and drop both of the .TTF files into the directory mentioned in the step above.

Step 7.
Restart PS3, and you're done!

From Theme settings Right ?

You NEED to open Rebug Toolbox first. Otherwise the dev_rebug wont show on FTP

im sorry. I was gone for 2 days after i made this post. I personally have been using the same files since Rebug 4.75 D-REX, so yes. You should be fine.

You are very welcome. I actually spent the most amount of time on the font to find the best looking one. This one seemed to be the cleanest looking font so i used it.

The easiest way to reset it all would be to reinstall your CFW. It shouldn't delete any of your saves or anything. Although, you may need to reinstall homebrew such as MultiMan or CCAPI.

How so, I've changed my coldboot multiple times without any issue. It's changing the health warning that is dangerous.
